Divine Journey Server Rules
Rules are a very important aspect of any Minecraft server. If you have not read them already, please head to the Rules Page and give them a read-over before you continue onto this guide. This will help keep you from getting in trouble! If you have any questions about our rules or policies on our server, please make sure to reach out to any of our staff team, we are more than willing to answer any questions, or provide clarity on a subject that you need help understanding.
Getting Started
As soon as you log onto our server for the first time, you will notice you have a few books in your inventory. These are to help you in-game by keeping a reference with you at all times. Please, make sure you read these, as they contain some vital information. The information in those books will also be kept here. These books are the achievement book, quest book, and some modded books. You may have duplicates of these, this is normal! We gave extras in case you lose one or more.
A more in-depth explanation of these books, what they do, and what information you can find in them, are as follows:
- Quest Book- This book provides rewards for important milestones reached throughout the pack. These include reaching locations, gathering items, or defeating bosses, and the rewards will help you on your journey. You will want to check this book frequently, and after you have completed your task to make sure you get credit for it every time.
- Achievement Book- This book is merely there to give you hints on what you should consider doing if you ever get stuck wondering "what should I be doing?", or if you have lost direction. This is also a direct walkthrough of the entire modpack, from punching wood to crafting infinite infinity ingots and therefore completing the pack.
- User Guide Book- This one you can access via your inventory screen, and is just a button that looks like a plain book. If you click this one, you will find a hand-written guide that includes everything you could want to look up. The pages of this book include:
- Commands and Ranks- This has a list of each rank, and after clicking on the rank you want to see information for, it will display all the commands and special perks each rank has access to.
- Formatting Codes- Here you will find a list of all the minecraft formatting codes, so you can color your nickname.
- Mod Guides- This is the most important part of the guide. Inside here there's a list of mods that have an in-depth guide that you can read, followed by Z1- Other Links and Z2- Mod Warnings!. Every guide page you click on will have the same formatting for the page: At the very top the name of the mod in green, followed directly by a video tutorial and wiki link (clickable!). After that there is the section of mod warnings for that mod, then the guide itself. On page Z1 there is a collection of video tutorials and wiki links for every "non essential" mod in the pack, and on page Z2 there is a collection of mod warnings that are not listed in any of the other pages.
- Notes on Progression- This is a short page explaining a little about this type of modpack, some short tips, and a little NEI functionality you maybe didn't know about.
- Server Rules- A page listing all of the server rules.
- Tips and Tricks- A collection of tips, tricks, and other information that you may find helpful.
- Server Info Book- This one you can also access via your inventory screen, and is just a button that looks like an enchanted book without the glowing effect. This book holds a collection of all important commands in the game, and "Server Tops" which is a list of stats such as top deaths, deaths per hour, first seen, last seen, and total time played.
